Harald Norvik, Chairman of the board

Harald Norvik holds a Master of Science in Business, NHH, Bergen 1971. He was President and CEO of Statoil Group 1988-99. Before this he was Member of Aker’s Executive Board as CFO (1981-86) and CEO of Astrup Høyer (1986-87). He has been Chairman of the Board of SAS, Telenor, Oslo Stock Exchange, Deep Ocean and Aschehoug, and been Member of the Board of Orkla, EON Ruhrgas and PGS as well as Chairman of the Advisory Board of DNB. From 2002 to 2009 he was strategic Advisor to ECON Pöyry. Mr. Norvik is today Member of the Board of ConocoPhillips and Umoe, and Chairman and member of various companies in different business areas.

Jan Edin Evensen , director

Jan Evensen holds a Master of Science (Cand. Real) in Geology, University of Oslo, 1977. He has more than 30 years of technical and senior management experience from the upstream oil and gas industry. He led major exploration activities in the North Sea, together with significant oil and gas development projects internationally both offshore and onshore. He built a successful gas production company from scratch and into a major gas supplier in South East Asia. Mr. Evensen is appointed to a number of boards and councils.

Otto K Sønju, director

Otto Sønju holds a Ph.D., Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, California, 1966. He has initiated and been responsible for several large product development contracts for Norwegian companies. He is former chairman of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and member of the board of NTNU and SINTEF’s governing council. Member of the Royal Norwegian Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s committee for “Efficient energy technology in industry”. Mr. Sønju has more than 100 publications and international papers and is the holder of 8 patents.

Henrik Falck, director

Henrik Falck holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, HEC, Lausanne, Switzerland, 1980. Mr. Falck is a business visionary and an experienced project manager with many years in international shipping. He was founder of the first private ship broking firm in Russia, part-owner and operator of a fleet of 18 vessels sailing on the Russian rivers, headed Wilh. Wilhelmsen’s port operation in Russia and the Baltics and is currently in charge of Tschudi Shipping’s project department.

Thor Erik Musæus, CEO

Thor Erik Musæus holds a Master of Science in Geology, NTNU, Trondheim, 1984 and a MBA, EM Lyon, France, 1992. He has more than 25 years of business and project development experience from the renewable energy industry as well as the oil and gas industry (Statoil, Ellingsen Norcontrol, Norwegian Industry Attachees, Paris). He has broad entrepreneurial experience and international experience through bilateral industrial and technological development between France and Norway. He has several board positions in smaller companies and international organizations. Mr. Musæus has been a board member in the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) in Brussels since 2010.

Bjørn Ståle Tennfjord, CFO

Bjørn Ståle Tennfjord holds a Master of Science as well as a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration, NHH, Bergen, 1988/1985. He has close to 30 years of business experiences, of which the majority is from the oil and gas industry. This includes employment with Amerada Hess, Saga Petroleum and Sagex / Valiant / Ithaca / MOL, as well as some years as self-employed contractor, e.g. for DONG Norge. Over the last decade he has held a Finance Manager position with what is now MOL Norge, including a period as interim CEO.

Cecilie Rindahl, Energy Engineer

Cecilie Rindahl holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, NTNU, Trondheim, 2016, with an exchange period to PUC, Santiago, Chile, 2014-2015. She did her Master Thesis on geothermal energy and middle deep energy wells, and also had a three-year student internship at Teekay Petrojarl.

Thilo Theloy, Lead Drilling Engineer

Thilo Theloy holds a Master of Science in Economy and Drilling, Mining University of Leoben, Austria, 2007. He has more than 8 years of experience with drilling and completion in the oil and gas industry. He has worked with onshore and offshore wells in Germany, Egypt and Norway, both on location and from the office. He was Lead Drilling Engineer for the development of the Zidane/Dvalin high temperature gas discovery in the Norwegian Sea.

Alexander Solberg, HSE/QA Manager

Alexander Solberg holds a Master of Science in Chemistry, NTNU, Trondheim, 2001.
He has over 15 years of experience with HSE from the oil and gas industry. Primary areas include Technical Safety, HSE risk analysis, HAZID facilitation, accident investigation and audits from Statoil and Scandpower. He also has drilling and well experience as a drilling fluids engineer from both offshore and onshore wells in M-I Swaco.
